Grandfather Tree (Maple) was a gift from one grandfather to another at the birth of the first grandson in 1921. The “Grandfather Tree” lives up to it’s name -grand and weathered with moss that looks like an old gray beard. Click on the thumbnail to see three shots on a sunny winter afternoon. Fall Spider

Fall Spider (Mangrove Golden Orb-weaving Spider) measuring almost five inches long kept a web that hung from a overhead telephone line down to cling to a four foot bush. She resided there for almost four months through heavy thunderstorms. I shot this picture November 6, 2006 and interestingly the next day I went out - and the spider was gone. “Ambulance LTD is a New York rock group. On their (New English) EP they offer a few new tracks and one beautifully constructed cover of Pink Floyd’s Fearless,” (which I love) “a song that originally appeared on the 1971 LP Meddle.

Grey’s Anatomy. Season 2, Episode 8 “Let It Be” - (imo) an award winner. If you have never seen this series, watch this one and you’ll be hooked. Buy Grey’s Anatomy.
Hats off to Creator Shonda Rhimes, Composer Danny Lux (Boston Legal), the brilliant writers and the entire cast of professionals - all at the top of their game.
Oh, and Sandra Oh (HBO’s Arliss) rocks.
