Did you say “Flying Car”?

Posted by Ben on June 5th, 2007

Flying Car on ABCNews.com A flying car resembling what the Jetsons drove could show up soon at a dealership near you. Moller International, a company founded by a UC Davis professor devoted to developing a flying car, announced in a statement recently that it has begun production for its “Jetsons-like M200G Volantor, a small airborne, two passenger, saucer-shaped vehicle that is designed to take off and land vertically.” watch video

The Riches on FX

The Riches on FX

I’m watching The Riches on FX (tv network). Now this is must see tv-ma. My cousin K has been pushing me to watch it. I hit ‘play’ and first rattle out of the box - I see Eddie Izzard.

Eddie Izzard is one of the funniest comedian / actors of our time. If you don’t recognize the name, he is British born and famous for his brilliant stand-up. His line in episode three “Peter Piper picked a peck of Panco people…and it was good” is classic Eddie Izzard stand-up. I swear I hear someone off-stage laughing. TiVo it and see for yourself.

The Riches on FX This show is so briliantly conceived and written that every role is an actor’s dream part. The Riches co-stars an a-list of actors including fellow British actor / song writer Minnie Driver (incredible), Canadian Noel Fisher - excellent. This cast is the cream of the crop. I even like the web site graphics. Riveting and hysterical! TV-MA

Buzz TV

BuzzTV - Daily on TechnoratiAaron Krane hosts the two minute daily Buzz TV from Technorati. Buzz TV is a capsulated comment on what is being searched for and discussed on the web now. It’s concise, entertaining, informative and always funny. Aaron Krane’s dry delivery is the perfect match for this fun little spot in the day.

I have a Buzz TV button on my browser toolbar so I don’t forget to watch it at least once a week. And, since it’s only 2 minutes long, I can catch up on the whole weeks episodes in no time.

The Tudors

Posted by Ben on April 6th, 2007

Episode 2 THE TUDORS on SHO Showtimes new series THE TUDORS second episode starts Sunday night (4/8) at 10PM. Watch the first two episodes for online now free no hassle.

This looks to equal the brilliance of HBO’s ROME which just ended a two season run (see video). Neither are for the faint of heart or small children but both series hooks you and makes you want more. After the first two shows THE TUDORS looks to be every bit as good.

Grey’s Anatomy

Grey's Anatomy, Shonda Rhimes, Danny Lux, Sandra OhGrey’s Anatomy. Season 2, Episode 8 “Let It Be” - (imo) an award winner. If you have never seen this series, watch this one and you’ll be hooked. Buy Grey’s Anatomy.
Hats off to Creator Shonda Rhimes, Composer Danny Lux (Boston Legal), the brilliant writers and the entire cast of professionals - all at the top of their game.

Oh, and Sandra Oh (HBO’s Arliss) rocks.

The Office

The Office - Buy Season 2 DVD

One of my all time favorite TV show is (drum roll please) The Office.

Season 3, episode 14: Dwight Rainn Wilson (top salesman) has just left Dunder Mifflin Paper Distibutors taking a job as a salesman at Staples) leaving “Andy and The Tuna” Jim John Krasinski (sung to Elton John’s Bennie and the Jetts) along with ‘Big Turkey’ BJ Novak, Michael Steve Carell, Pam Jenna Fischer and the rest to drive the brilliant humor of this American version of the BBC hit. Oscar is back from his ‘gay-cation’. This show cracks me up. Jim and Pam hide Andy’s cell phone with his self made 4-part harmony ringtone (all four parts are his voice) of “Rockin’ Robin” in the ceiling tiles and ring the number driving Andy to a ‘broken brain’.

OK - you have to watch this show. It’s always funny, casting is spot-on and I like the way some of the cast doubles as writers, producers, directors all on the same show - The Office. If you love it as much as I do… leave me a comment! Buy Season 1 and 2 DVD out now!
