Snow Drop
The snow drop (Galanthus) is the first bulb to flower in spring or winter. This flower measures only 1/2 inch. See previous post.

The colors are brilliant. I have seen these flowers before from a distance and never knew of the bright green on each petal in contrast with the white and yellow.
