This is the coolest thing since Wilber & Orville’s first flight at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. The IconA5 is in this new class. It seats two, goes on land, water and air and can fit in a garage and I want one -just as soon as I have a spare $139000 USD. The site is cool with videos. “ICON Aircraft’s sole purpose has been to bring the freedom, fun, and adventure of flying to all who have dreamed of flight. With these ground-breaking FAA rules solidified, ICON believes that consumer-focused sport aircraft can do for recreational flying what personal watercraft did for boating.”

As I stopped to help 80+ year old Nana out of the car she said, “Go get your camera! Don’t worry about me!” So, I did, thanks Nana. Hmm, I wonder if she is still in the car. Well, last year we got a bumper crop of the best pears I have ever eaten. For several harvests I got a ladder and tied grocery bags to my belt loops until they were so heavy my pants were almost hanging off by the time I made it inside. I have a wonderful new appreciation for fresh pears – love ‘em! Thanks Dad. Photo taken July 29, 2008. To see all photographs click here I bought this plant 2 years ago at the grocery store. It proceeded to die (I thought). But, I kept watering it and treating it like the other house plants. All of a sudden this year it came to life. Meet the sun star. Photo taken March 08, 2009.
